CL were lucky enough to recently view the opening of the new hotel – the Gran Hotel Miramar in Malaga.

The re-birth of this once iconic 5-star deluxe hotel has been much anticipated. The grand facade and interior of this iconic building has been lovingly restored. The finished product does not disappoint. A gem of a beachfront and heart of a vibrant city venue has been born again!

200 elegant contemporary bedrooms, wide sweeping marble staircases down to the pool area and a terrace to watch the sunset. Beautiful and all in the heart of the bustling and authentic city of Malaga.

Access to Malaga International airport is excellent from Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester.

Malaga is really setting itself up as a fascinating destination full of culture and history. We got a real sense as we sat at a cafe, dipping churros into luscious chocolate and wandering through the daily market, that this is a place we could revisit time and time again

We visited a fascinating Automobile Museum  with a private collection of 90 classic cars alongside displays of haute couture fashion and hats. The perfect setting for a gala dinner? We also had a Segway tour of the new port area before sitting outside to enjoy a local meal of tapas.
